The movie and the book the same thing exept the movie had more background information of the author. It also kind of ruins the ending because it gives you a big clue of the ending.

Their is alot of flashback in this story because it keeps going back to where when the main character meets her love. It also does it when its showing moments in their lives where they loved the most.

I read another of this authors stories and this is the best of her stories. I really liked since the second chance at love which made the story very intresting. The problems caused in this story are also very realistic which made the story very intresting.

This story is very sad because it shows how a poor girl could not marry the love of her life because of her friends and family. It really sucked because she never got to marry her love and had to live like that for the rest of her life. Its Kind of crazy how shes into some kind of depression and she was not to recover from it if it was not for fate.

Well Anne meets her sisters husbands family amd sees her long lost love again. When he meets them she is invited to go on a walk on the beach with the family whe she realizes that Louisa likes Captain Wentworth(which is the guy she loves). While walking out Louisa Jumps so the captain could catch but he moves because his not ready and she falls. She lands on the concrete and is left unconsious because her head lands first. During this accident Anne takes advantage and begins talking to the captain and his love for her is renew also.

Anne Is faced by some very hard decisions to make during this part of her life. Her Father is in great debt and is even renting her house now. She is the only one that can save them by n0t getting marry with the guy she loves and finding a husband of her own social class to save her family from going totally broke.

When Anne Elliot turns down the hand of her man because of an advice of a friend, it causes depression to both individuals that have two different effects on each. Other than feelings of hurt and sorrow love might come back to both of them because they might meet each other again.

The issues of class rigidity and social mobility are the most important themes in Persuasion. Marriage and the naval profession are two things which ipeople may improve their social class. Austen is not a revolutionary she just defends the values and traditions of respect for the social structure. Yet she is subtly subversive in her support of greater social mobility. The Navy’s role in gradually increasing class flexibility is stated to be one of its “domestic virtues.” But there are rules and limits to social ambition in Austen’s world. Mr. Elliot and Mrs. Clay are punished for the selfishness they show in overstepping their bounds and breaking these rules. Austen is conservative in her respect for class traditions, yet practically she recognizes the advantages of greater social flexibility.

Persuasion is janes last completed novel. She began writing this novel soon after she was finish with the novel Emma.Persuasion is connected with northern Abbey not only because the two books were originally in one volume and published together two years later, but also because both stories are set partly in bath, a fashionable health resort with which Jane Austen was well acquainted, having lived there from 1801 to 1805.
